Farewell Brother..

People come and go in our life; some left strong imprints, some are easily forgotten.
Today is a special Sunday in our church; the worship team was in front and our dearest brother Peter Li was serving with us on his last Sunday worship in Morgantown.

Peter Li... a brother in Christ who has left a strong impact in us.

At school, he is known as the associate Dean of the International student office in WVU. He's the guy you need to deal with if you have any problem with your I-20, and he's also the guy who will protect you if you are questioned by the FBI regarding you immigration status.
At church, he is a deacon, spiritual elder, Sunday worship administrator, song leader, usher, the cook, the joker, and the crowd pleaser. For me, he is a partner (in worship department), co-worker (in fellowship ministries), music-making buddy, pingpong partner/opponent, the best wanton noodle cook, somebody i can call if there's an emergency...

Today we acknowledge, honor, and bless our brother during the service. Peter is going back to Hong Kong to serve in his almamater, Hong Kong Baptist University, after serving in WVU for 18 years in Morgantown. All of the deacons and elders came out to lay hands on him and pray for him. It is hard to let go of somebody that has shared many years of tears and laughter with us. We will definitely miss him tremendously.. but we all know that God has a better plan for him, his career, and his future in HK.

May the LORD bless you and keep you..
Farewell brother..
